We must not move backward on women's right to bodily autonomy.
Like many of you, I do not want my daughters to grow up in a world where they are denied the freedom and autonomy granted without question to men. Last night’s news sent shockwaves to millions of women and families in Oregon and across the nation.
We will not allow this to happen in Oregon no matter the outcome from the Supreme Court. I will fiercely defend and protect access to safe, legal abortion and reproductive freedom for all Oregonians. And I stand with our members of Congress as they fight to defend reproductive freedom in the United States.
